The Ray-Tech HeatWave WorkHorse features a 2-ton reclaimer on a trailer.

  • HeatWave WorkHorse
    • The HeatWave WorkHorse features a 2-ton capacity reclaimer mounted on a dual axle trailer.
    • In front of the reclaimer is an 87″ x 82″ deck with two foldup aluminum ramps on the driver’s side and a railing with tool slots around the front.
    • This model comes in either propane or diesel fired configurations.
  • HeatWave WorkHorse PRO
    • The HeatWave WorkHorse PRO is identical to the WorkHorse model but will also include a Mini Tech walk behind heater with a 42″ x 48″ heating chamber.
    • This model is propane fired (both reclaimer and Mini Tech will run on propane).

    • The HeatWave GovSpec features a 4-ton capacity reclaimer mounted on a dual axle trailer.

  • HeatWave GovSpec PRO

Heatwave Standard Features:

  • Fully automatic ignition with the flip of a switch.
  • Timers and thermostats for reclaiming and holding operation.
  • Time Delay System (TDS) for presetting the time box will automatically turn on.
  • Mounted on dual axle trailer with electric brakes on each wheel.
  • Two (WorkHorse) / three (GovSpec) manually operated discharge doors at rear of unit.
  • Two manually operated loading doors that form a chute.
  • Two LED work lights (one on front and one on back).
  • LED arrow board on back of reclaimer.
  • 12 volt battery with charger system for easy charging overnight.
  • Sloped hopper walls to steer asphalt down and out to the discharge doors.

Heatwave Available Options:

  • Hydraulic Dump – Hydraulically dumps to the rear of the trailer via a standalone pump and dual hydraulic pistons.
  • Hand Tool Package – Includes rake, lute, broom, shovel, tamper, wheelbarrow, cone storage, cones, and rinse tank.
  • Extras Package – Includes water tank and propane hand torch.
  • Mini Tech Upgrade – Increase the Mini Tech heater size to 42″ x 78″. – PRO models only
  • Capable of reaching 1875 F (400 F hotter than any competitor)
  • Unique converter design and higher temperature output produces a more effective infrared light wave meaning faster heat times and more work done per day.
  • Reflector design allows for complete and even heating with fewer rows of converters than the competition. This means more heating done with less gas used.
  • 24 volt systems are more robust and better suited for the worksite. They are the only way to reach the higher temperatures.
